Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, a premier example of site-specific, organic architecture, will present a professional symposium as part of its inaugural Design + Build Studio Beginning at the Barn at Fallingwater, this one-day event will consist of academic and professional project presentations, a preview of the DesignCompetition: The New Cottages at Fallingwater exhibition, and keynote address by Peter Bohlin, FAIA, a 2010 AIA Gold Medal Winner.

Join AIA Pittsburgh for Build Pittsburgh 2010. This full day of continuing education will focus on building better relationships between owners, architects, contractors, and engineers. The day will begin with a kick-off breakfast and our keynote speaker Bill Black, National Director of Strategic Business Solutions for Haworth, who will present “Mindshift -A Culture of Collaborative Design and Delivery,” followed by a full day of continuing education seminars, and ending with an evening reception.
